Heat up skillet over medium-high and add 2 tbsp of oil
Once is skillet hot, add the trimmed green beans and sprinkle of salt.
Cook the green beans for 4 minutes, until they are seared and avr blistered spots.
Add in slices of ginger, star anise. Cook the green beans for another 4 minutes,until the spices are fragant and the beans are crisp-tender
Add 2 tbsp of water to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the water has evaporated and the beans are perfectly tender
Lastly, sprinkle the white sesame on top of green beans and ready to serve.
