No need for the oven! These Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Cookies are a classic favorite with just 7 ingredients. Almost all of which can be found in your pantry. Quick. Easy. And deliciously addictive. These No Bakes are one of the very first cookies I made growing up and they’re still one of my all-time favorites. No oven needed. Just 7 simple ingredients. And ready to eat in just 15 minutes. Perfect for those nighttime munchies. An after-school snack. Or pretty much anytime you’re craving something simple and sweet. You can never go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter 🙂

1. In a medium saucepan, bring the cocoa, sugar, milk and butter to a boil over medium heat. It's important to bring these to a boil verrrrry slowly. Once they reach a rolling boil, boil for 60 seconds. Use a timer!

2. Pull the saucepan off the heat after boiling. Add in the oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well.

3. Allow the mixture to cool for 1 minute and then drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.

Tips & Tricks For The Best No-Bake Cookies Patience is key: do not spoon the mixture onto the wax paper while hot! Allow it to cool so the cookies will be easier to form. You may also refrigerate for 10 minutes to speed up the cooling process. Stick to real butter for this recipe and do not use margarine! Margarine will leave your cookies tasting strange. This tip may seem strange, but it’s 100% legit: do not make these cookies when it’s raining! The pressure in the atmosphere prevents the cookies from setting properly. You can lessen the sugar by up to half if you don’t want it to be too sweet. You may use almond extract instead of vanilla for an even more interesting flavor. Give your cookies more crunch by adding chopped nuts. While the recipe calls for rolled oats, you may also use quick oats. Quick oats will yield to tender cookies, while rolled oats will give a nice chewy texture. Stir the mixture constantly as you cook. Make sure the mixture reaches a full rolling boil before removing it from the stove. This will ensure that the cookies will set properly. Do not overcook the mixture – doing so will cause dry cookies. Give your cookies a little twist by adding some shredded coconut.
